Sweet, people are going to get busted at the Crown courts! That's a maximum of 10 years as opposed to 6 months! Time to make some examples of these idiots

What really *****s me off is that the BNP are milking this.

Yes, the black youths aren't doing themselves any favours, but it's not just them who are looting, etc. There are also white youths out there too.

I tried to put a balanced comment on the BNP website (i.e. simply linking examples to white youths who are part of the violence, and saying it's unfair to simply discriminate against all black people and it's a minority of people)...

Guess what? Their moderators refused the submission, instead allowing inflammatory comments to fill it up!

They seem to have an illusion that the rich have it so much better.

Little do they know that not all shop owners are rich and high and mighty and a lot of the places they kicked in and set on fire probably employ their friends/relatives.

Plenty of the shop keepers they terrorised and robbed from were immigrants who came to this country with very little and worked extremely hard to create a business and financial stability for their families.

Then they go on the news talking about how they have no hope or future.

It's not that they can't always find jobs, it's that they wont do a large swathe of jobs that they view as 'beneath' them. It's also that they'd rather make £70/week on jobseekers than £100/week on a part time job.

End of the day there were 13-16 year olds mostly so I blame the parents or lack of parents giving a damn.Any parent worth their salt wouldn't have let their kids out 2nd and 3rd nights. But then what can a single mother do when the kids don't even respect or fear them.

BBC 5 live speaks to a friend of the man, who was filmed bleeding and being helped by a gang of youths, who then stole the contents of his bag.
Dzuhair Hanafiah says the 20-year-old Malaysian student Mohammad Asyraf is currently in hospital with a broken jaw and is in "good spirits".
He only arrived in the UK four weeks ago. His bike and phone were taken and his mother is trying to find the money to visit him.

This may be extreme view for some but I have seen the reason that rubber bullets weren't used or water cannons and most them given seem to be along the lines of human rights or fear of injuring them etc. Why? seriosuly why? If someone breaks the law to the extent that the rioters have they have put themselves outside of the law and therefore shouldn't be able to claim for any human rights if they get hit with rubber bullets or a police officer hits them with his truncheon. The police should be able to do what they can to stop them and arrest them. Obviously I don't think the police should be able to beat up anyone and everyone but in these situations they shouldn't be held back by fear of being punished for what they are doing or going to do.

That's just a few pics I watched a fair amount of the coverage and what I saw were mainly the age group I said.
