Facebook + Anon

Facebook's internal security and anti-hacking is actually quite impressive... probably due to the activities mentioned in the article :S

I'm guessing they plan on DDoSing the site possibly, tho in the past they've proved to be relatively resilient to large volumes of traffic.
 
Someone posted this on FB a few days ago, ive seen nothing from the usual anon sources to backup the video. Also the video is a bit different from the others posted by anon, the voice is fully computer generated whereas others ive seen have been human voices which have been disguised.

I'm pretty sure they've had troubles with some people putting spyware/adware in the actual ads before now, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's something a little more sophisticated than a DDoS...
 
Pretty old news but,

Over 10% of the worlds population go on Facebook every day, a simple or complex DDOS attack isn't going to do anything. Will wait and see what they do because it'll be funny to see them fail :)

Anonymous confirm it on their twitter, though say it's only some members as others don't agree with it.

But they do. I do not know what time my brother gets home from work, and what he ate yesterday at whatever time he ate it. Not that I want to know of course!

Seriously though - I'd love to know how (or even if) they're going to attack FB because as others have said a simple DDos would be insufficient to bring the site to its knees.
