Riots in Tottenham, London! (NO RACIST COMMENTS)

Indeed. I wonder how many black people have seen posts on here that have contained such a racist messages, and figured they are not going to bother purchasing from OcUK.

I think that there is no harm in discussing these points in a forum. It's important to discuss these views especially now when it's a hot subject. If we dont discuss them, then people will still have their views with no back and forth rational discussion.

We should not be so quick to burn people down for being racist, but just point out the alternative view-point. Otherwise we risk burying our head in the sand and not getting to the crux of the problem.

Yes there were a lot of black youths who were part of the riot. But lets discuss why.

Someone thinks it's Genetics; lets point out why we think that it's more likely due to opportunities. Plus a whole load of underlying issues, which includes racisim, in the minds of us ALL.

Someone thinks we can't live in a multicultural Britain, lets point out that other non British cultures lead the way in fighting back during the riots; the seiks, the turkish, the muslims, the pakistani communities.

Which one? Where abouts are you? It looked like from the destruction they came from Action (down Madely Road) and then onto the Broadway to West Ealing.

I thought they didn't make it to West Ealing but went on the rampage down Bond Street/High Street and then to Finnegans Wake.

You know the one opposite the greek resturant in Ealing Common? Just near the carpet shop. They smashed the window and the *always closed* door leading to the kitchen was wide open, so I'm guessing they damaged the kitchen. They also smashed the windows in Sainsbury, A Japanese hairdresser, and the carpet shop.

I thought they traveled the other way. They congregated in Ealing, were kept away from the shopping centres by the police, and moved from Haven green down Madley road, then through Ealing Common and onto Acton.

It was around 12/1 when they passed down the end of my road (the one with the carpet shop on the corner). Definitely travelling from Ealing towards Acton.

Not only that, I'm confused are they rioting against the rioters as they killed 3 guys or are they just joining in to cause more havok...?

lol what the hell is that martial arts stance he is taking up. Deserved to be hit just for doing that, ****ing ****!

Judging by the fact I saw groups around south ealing, and later on heard Ealing Broadway was in trouble, and the panasonic store in west ealing got hit.

I would think groups were making their way up south ealing road towards ealing broadway, other groups came from west ealing towards ealing broadway, and supposedly they headed Ealing Common direction and all the groups tore up Ealing Broadway pretty good. There was a couple cars just past that pub near TVU, on the way up to EB, then finnegans, the shop on the corner and flats opposite, then up bond street.

Could have been a lot worse in ealing, was wondering if a much larger group of people might have headed up from the estates nearer the motorway, both sides, could have been a lot worse I think, but it was a fairly small number of them.

Ah right thought so, I cycle everyday to work and saw the carpet shop with a timber board up. The Tesco in the Esso was also smashed up. Madely Road looked bad, damaged cars, and apparently they were breaking into peoples' homes?

Last night was surreal, from Acton to Ealing (I live in Pitshanger) was a ghost town, all shops shut and no cars on the road. Was cyclist heaven :P

Just showed this on sky news

EDIT* I know the video is from earlier but they just repeated it and was the first time I've seen it.

i like how he edits it by zooming in on the replay to make it look like the guy went don from a hit to the head when he just trips over the cub if you look first.
