Hello, well as some of you will know from the RR thread I had a new car lined up, well I have finally sold my ST220, which I owned for 3 and a half years pretty much, was sad to see it go, but onto bigger and better things for now.
So I have purchased a Porsche 911 (996) Targa, I was not looking for a new car at the time, but my Dad wanted to sell it, and I thought what the hell, might as well if I can have it for a good price.
The car is a 2003 model, and doesn't have a great deal of options, but has the ones that are in my eyes essentials, Nav, Xenons and the important side skirts which greatly enhance the looks of the 996 in my eyes. Unfortunately it is a tiptronic, which is a slusho autobox, but beggars can't be choosers, and it certainly doesn't lack power, just the changes are a bit sluggish. The car has the 3.6 engine and is supposed to produce somewhere in the region of 320hp, it is certainly much faster than the Mondeo, that I do know.
