guys, I'm build a HTPC box. CPU will be i3 2100.

On graphics front, I want it to handle full HD 3D HDMI1.4a. I think I will stick with latest GF108 gen.

GT430 seems to be a good choice. Is it too weak for casual gaming?

Do you recommand any other more powerful but still very power efficient GF108 gen cards?

I will only use Nvida card because my box will run Linux + XBMC. Nvidia cards got far better drivers than ATI/AMD on Linux.

A 6670 would be quite a lot faster than the GT430 for just a few quids more:

But I'm not certain about AMD's 3D support compatability with 3D monitors/TV...may be someone else can give you some advice regarding this area?

Sorry forgot to mention. I'm buying Nvidia card only. Because my box will run Linxu +XBMC. Nvidia card driver support is far better.

Then the that's the 6770 option out the window then :D

The GT430 is seriously underpower, even the faster GT440 is miles behind the 6670, which is roughly same speed as a 8800GT/9800GT. It's kinda sad that low-end Nvidia cards that has HDMI 1.4 support offer such pants performance in games...and there is no GT540, which in theory should pit against AMD's 6670.
