A member of the forum showed today se7ensins some interesting pictures. He and his friend because someone from Treyarch (developers of Black Ops) in his friends list. Recently saw him play a game they had never seen.
This employee was in fact a Treyarch game playing called Iron Wolf. This is anyway Treyarch Call of Duty 9 where soon one year doing. The word is probably Iron Wolf, but a code name in the future will be changed with a different subtitle. When they went to look for other Treyarch employees were also coincidentally or not playing Iron Wolf.

They have also taken some pictures as proof.

I think he's trying to say that COD 9 is in production already.

Not a surprise tbh. I know for a fact each game takes around 2 years.

Shenanigans? I doubt they'd be playing an unfinished title on the public Live servers.

Seems like somebody's making a hell of an assumption. It's probably just some game called Iron wolf off the indie marketplace/XNA that some Treyarch people (with mysteriously pretty new accounts...) are all enjoying, then some sites got hold of it and "OMG COD9! Must be first with the story!".

The next COD is obviously in production, but it doesn't add up that they'd be testing it, on the public server, on accounts that have befriended complete randoms.

Found this online. Makes more sense to me.

Out of the blue, before the official announcement, comes information about the next Call of Duty game. No, we’re not talking about Modern Warfare 3 that’s coming out this November. We’re talking about something completely different…

A member of the se7ensins forums, and his friend, have some Treyarch developers in their friends list. Recently they have noticed one of the devs was playing Team Deathmatch on an unknown map of an unknown game – except it was titled ‘Iron Wolf’ on the screen. He curiously checked a few other Treyarch profiles and guess what? Some of them were playing the game as well!

It’s no surprise that another CoD game is already in development. It’s similiar with many franchises – multiple teams work on multiple projects/titles, each with an estimated 2-year development cycle.

What does the name ‘Iron Wolf’ imply though? Most likely it is just a codename for the project. It could also mean that, most likely, the next Call of Duty will take us back to World War II. It might be related somehow to World at War or Black Ops and it might not. We’ll have to see…

TBH treyarch do good by the PC community what with having dedicated servers from the off, same can't be said about infinty ward.

Have you actually tried to play Black Ops on the PC?

When the game came out there was (and probably still is) some serious game breaking issues on many peoples setups and it was almost a month after release before they even acknowledged them or even made any kind of related statement to the public... they should have had a statement out 72 hours tops and put all effort into fixing it.

Apparently due to it being thanks giving or some other public holiday the day after release no one was paying attention to their newly released game less than 24 hours later... not exactly the kind of support you'd expect from someone proud of their newly released game....

Indeed, it runs like crap and has done since launch, mw2 is a much better looking game and yet requires nowhere near the grunt of this pos to run properly. One of their updates seems to have screwed scaling as im occasionally dipping to 50 or so fps in eyefniity, before hand it was generally around 90fps or so.
