Indeed... within 2 weeks of being there I was on a night out and my workmate got beaten and mugged. :( Plus there were gangs going around ripping cash machines out with trucks.

Anyone who thinks that other countries don't have their own equal or bigger problems is not looking closely enough. Besides, cockroaches don't climb out of the drainage hole in my shower in the UK! :p

You sarcasm is hilarious.

If you could actually remove your head from your crack and read you'd notice that we had already been considering a move.

Other reasons for moving: The scum here is much more in your face and prevalent here as it is there, I have been. I have friends who have never regretted making the same decision. I am likely to get 2.5 to 3 times more salary there than I get doing the same job here. My standard of living will be better. The weather is better. They have awesome surfing and a few ski resorts. The sea is nice.

The fact that the scum problem is much worse than I thought is merely the straw that's breaking the camel's back.

Because despite being Black/White/Asian British teens a lot of them seem to think they're African Americans living in south central LA... gang signs, hip hop, US style sportswear etc...

shove them in juvernile detention centers for 5 years+, or however long it takes them to become 18 then spend the rest of the time in adult prison.

also, give them no chance of an early release for good behaviour

If it was up to me, they would all be 'the lucky winners' of an all expenses paid weekend in a remote log cabin with a paedophile.
