Yes, it needs money but likewise it also needs a workforce. You won't get a workforce if you're paying them £3p/h as some people seem to be suggesting.

If those people earning £3/hour are having other social needs supplemented (ie. council tax), why not?

Also, people will work for low wages if they have to, the reason people don't now is because minimum wages doesn't off a big enough increase over the dole to make it worth their while.

I have watched the movie in the past, it's a load of crap, it can't work, and every country that has tried it has become an authoritarian hellhole.

What you describe is communism.

No it isn't and you clearly ignored a massive section on psychology/values and the fact that it needs to be the whole world not one country.

Don't sit back and say it is a load of crap you have no solution that is better. I am not a communist or a socialist, I have voted conservative all my life, but the current world economy is dead, America and many other countries are barely managing to avoid bankruptcy. Money is an outdated concept and people need to take a quantum leap with their beliefs and values.

The least worst system in the world is the one we have right here.

And I do concur, but I said working (put in there also the Russian model). It is clear that with the current economical model our political model will eventually disappear, or will be modified in such a way it will be unrecognisable (it is starting to be like that after all the stupidity turned into law by labour).

Sorry, if YOU can't explain why it won't fail you then you don't understand what you're talking about.

Edit: I think we might have had this discussion before:- I'm a ski bum, who would service my ski lifts and operate them?

I can explain it, but it is MASSIVE, I cannot summarise a 3 hour film that goes down to the basic level of psychology and how nature and nurture impact on all this.

Seriously invest the time, I am not gonna try to convince you anymore, call me crazy, but one day this will happen. I hope I get to see it, but I suspect it will be a few hundred years and a huge world war before the logic comes about to make it happen.

It is communism by the original ideology, and the 'whole world' crap is exactly the same crap spouted by communists.

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it's a duck, even if you try and pretend it's a giraffe.

Just because I didn't find the same level of irrational 'enlightenment' in that load of drivel doesn't mean I didn't watch it, or try to understand the message, it just means the message is crap.

Perhaps they do, but some kind of hellish authoritarian 'utopia' where you have no control and no means of changing anything while being fully dependent on the state really doesn't sound like the solution to anyone with a brain that is wired correctly.

People who value money know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

Trite.

Everyone values money, even you do. Not because of loving money for its own sake, but because money you own, represents the fruits of your labour, it is a store of the work you have done. It is a means of exchange. You can use that money to purchase things you need.

The problem isn't money per se.

It is the manipulation of the money systems - expansion and creation of new money by private banks which causes bubbles and recessions.

It won't happen, because in the case of this I doubt I am the only one who would be happy to take up arms.

Indeed, Hes coming of as a looney-left mentalist. An idealist with no concept of the human condition, nice world for robots mind

Overprinting money, needs to have SIGNIFICANT negatives to decide upon it.

IE if the negative was death, well...they wouldn't be so quick to print more would they?
