Argh Help!!

Whilst typing an email yesterday my PC just stopped! No pop or any sound. Now when i switch it on all that happens is the red light on the motherboard flashes very quickly and one fan starts.
I presume my mother board has failed or could it be power supply?

Any ideas?

sounds like power supply, can you smell any burning smell from the psu? or do you have another psu to test?

Nope and nope. If it is the power supply im gutted, its quite new and ( i thiought) a good manufacturer

If it's quite new get it replaced under warranty.

Out of curiosity what make and model is it?

I'm signature blind today

But he should still get it replaced under warranty if he can.

Not sure if the OP bought it new but I believe they have a 5 year warranty.

Take the psu out of the case and put a staple in the green wire to any black one then put some fans on and plug it in if it dont spin up it`s the psu.
