RULES:

- First to win 3 games progresses
- Any character can be used
- Winner of a game must remain with the same character
- Loser of a game can change character
- Both winner and loser can change ultras
- Lag test must be done first
- Final is a FT5 set

You can't go off topic and ask a question, then state no one else should go off topic... how am I meant to respond.

Make it double elim (the standard for anything other than certain specialist rapid Japanese tournaments) and I'm in, work permitting. I will be in Amsterdam Sunday-Tuesday.

This is just a single elimination for now, but thanks for suggesting the idea, will consider it for any future ones.

Back on Topic - It will be first 16 or 32 depending on numbers but sign up now to avoid disappointment!! :)
 
Count me in, I don't think I have missed an OcUK tourney since SF4 vanilla was released :)

NE do not follow the standards for many things (such as charging just for entry at tournaments, but mugs will pay it), it's something they're really bad at.

They run single elim as they have bad time management and SvB always over runs.

They also challenge anyone who questions this publicly: saying it's their fault because they didn't bring their A-game and keep it for a large amount of time. It's a shame that they seem unwilling to change it.

For a small online tourney I'd guess it wouldn't matter all too much. Maybe it could be a continuation from the wednesday night fights idea that there's say 10 people who play a single elim tournament each week, something like that.

That'd be good actually, with a regular 16 group. Maybe not every week but every fortnight or so, and if 1 of the 16 can't make it, we can allow a sub to take his place. Single elimination tournaments shouldn't last too long at all.

First 16 in this will be the 'SUPER 16' for fortnightly tourney if you opt in. :)

It seems as though we'll struggle to get 16 so we may as well get things started now as we have 8. If you missed out you can always join the next one.
