Right fellas....

If you were to find yourself looking for a new hardtail and you had no more than £600 to throw at it what would you buy?

I really like the look of the Genesis Core 20 which seems to fit the bill, also had my heart set on a Canyon yellowstone 4.0 but the horror stories are starting to creep through now.

I dont want to go second hand, i should also mention im quite a heavy lad so want something that feels solid.

Go!

Rockhopper/Hardrock? Should be some good deals on the 2011 models now too! :)

Edit: Just had a look, seems you can get the Rockhopper for about £600 now and the Hardrock Pro for about £500.

She drove 2 hours to go pick it up from a depot today, where I could have rearranged delivery for tomorrow, with a screaming baby in the car...and struggled to get the big old box into the car.

I thought it was ok to lenghten her chain so that she couldnt just reach the stove...but be able to get into the garage too :)
