I'm after some information about Vegas casinos. Do they have electronic roulette machines that are hooked up to the real roulette tables. In UK casinos you can go onto a personal machine which has a camera linked upto the tables and you can sit down and relax and still bet on the tables. The minimum stakes are lower usualy £1 on even bets instead of £5 playing at the table but so are the table limits, £50 instead of £500 at the table.

Does anyone who's played on them know what the min and max stakes are for playing at machines? I imagine in Vegas it will be a lot higher than at the UK assuming they have these machines. Reason I ask is that i'm thinking of going on a holiday to Vegas and when i'm in a casino i'd much sooner sit where its and relaxing rather than stand at the tables which can be quite hectic.

And do they have European roulette or is it all American Tables?

I played at roulette at one casino in Vegas where you couldn't bet at the table at all. The table was just surrounded by lots of machines which you could bet on.

Can't remember the limits were though. Doubt it was high if I was playing.

I've seen those on cruise ships before. Usualy they have quite low limits say $50 a bet.

By the way Ekim can you just walk into any casinoo on the strip? And are they all close togther so you'r not having to ctach taxis around the city?

I have not seen any of the machines you mentioned. They have something similar ie you can sit around and it fires it with a blast of air, and that is all done via machines.

Nearly all tables are American with 0 and 00

As for limits, more than you of me could ever afford;)

Without even going into the high rollers you can easily put down $15,000 per bet.

:( Not good. I really hate playing at tables with everyone reaching over and the likes. If you'r playing for fun it's ok but when you'r playing to make money its not good.

Strips about 4 miles long but you can get a monorail from around half way up to the north strip and stratosphere hotel.

The monorail is as good as dead, No one uses it. They have put the price up far too high, and the distance between the hotels is not very far. as you said the sahara is as far as it goes, and there is nothing down that end really now since the sahara closed. unless you are on a specific schedule to get somewhere, i always just walk.

There are some in the Wynn, there is a roulette table and they use the computers round it, so there is no actual table to place money on, the minimum bet was $5.

I played on a 4 player computer machine thing in the MGM grand, I did quite well and won about $300 and got loads of free drinks while sat there, I was playing a few others and you can repeat the last bet ect. I would recommend that for you if you have a good game plan like I had.

This is me.. Call me boring, and my really missus did, when we were in vegas, :p cos i refused to put any money in. But I said, at least we are up, unlike the 90% of people walking around this place. !!!! :D

You arent "up" if you didnt bet at all.

Its just entertainment really. A few punts in the gambling capital of the world doesnt = Gamblers Anonymous.
