Surely there are a few here using photoshop as it is very hard to believe camera's can do such amazing quality pictures

Photoshop is the digital equivalent of developing film in a lab. The way you mix the chemicals determines the quality of the end result you get on paper.

The same applies to digitaly processed photos.

The problem is, is that the sun is directly facing them and their all squinting a bit to look at the camera.

that was part of the issue, unfortunately I had no control over that as the chairman wanted things set up in front of the hedge. But it was one of the first things i looked at when i arrived.
