For the past few years ive been using a bright blue bag my grandad gave me. Its rather worn now and the hand straps are a bit broken so hurts my hands when carrying it.
It fits in hand luggage (about 56x45x25) and i can get a weeks worth of stuff in it with room to spare for trainers, electrical equipment etc. Empty bag hardly weights anything

Im looking for a good quality wheel bag, thats fits in hand luggage but still has good space inside and is quite light

Ive heard samsonite and carlton bags are quite good, but not really sure. Will be going into leeds city centre tomorrow to get one. Price max is 150 if its going to last 10 years

samsonite do very sturdy solid shell hand luggage bags.
I personally prefer the soft hold all style bags though(samsonite do these also).
Where are you planning to shop for these?

Something like this looks pretty decent -hand luggage size, 45litre. Would be niceifit weighed a bit less than 3.5kg though (as thats more than 1/3 the standard hand luggage weight!)

X-Pression Upright Expandable 55cm/20inch Black

Noticed that Wilko had some 'hard shell' type in as I passed last night .... ~ £30.

Only downside is that the plastic wheels drop off on the first use!

I had a cheap wheel case a few years ago, it cost about 40quid, when i was going to cuba on the second holiday with it a wheel broke and it was a right pain to move. These samsonite bags come with a 5 year guarantee... Whars the difference between a guarantee and a warranty?
