Hey all,

I've been considering getting this to control my case fans and hopefully my H60 fans although I realise this may not work.

The controller has 5 channels, although I cannot remember the max amperage for each channel, would a a splitter work to place 2 fans on one channel as long as the max amperage is under the channels max?

These are my case fans, would 2 of these work together in one channel? ( I have the top of my CM 690 II and the window panel filled with these fans )

Although I'm assuming the LXE wouldn't drive 2 1850 Typhoons? :P

Power = Current (I) x Voltage (V). The akasa are P = 0.15A x 12V = 1.8W so two would require 3.6W.

The fan controller, under specs on this page show that controller can put 10W per channel so you would be fine. Might need some of these to allow you to plug the two fans in to the same channel on the controller.

With the Scythe Gentle Typhoon fans, from their description here, look at the top table and the middle fan (speed=1850) gives current at 0.36A @ startup and it would be on the 12V rail so P = 0.36A x 12V = 4.32W so two would be just within the 10W per channel.

Aha excellent, I was planning to do all that crunching in the morning (brain is frazzelled) but its good to know the numbers work out :)

Need to find a 2-1 adapter for 3 pins. On phone so can't browse that fast :(
