Where to start - overclocking 2500k

These self contained water jobbies put me off. My friends leaked, and did some damage. CPU overheated. It was about 2 years old tho and was one i never heard of.

Probably didn't have much quality control back then to be honest. I've got a corsair H60 with an akasa apache fan and its superb and I havent had any issues with it so far.

Make sure the heatsink you buy will fit in your case before buying an air cooler mate as some of them are truly massive!

try the Zalman CNPS9900MAX blue LED

looks nicer than the 1960's tower blocks you usually get, and its a half decent cooler.

obviously it isnt as good as a thermalright silver arrow, but its still a great cooler.
if you do go for it, use the resistor cable. without it the fan is like an italian waiter - it makes a lot more noise but doesnt get anything done any faster (cooling wise)
