Anyone been to Chernobyl/Pripyat?

Thinking of taking my summer hols to Chernobyl next year. Hoping to get a good tan

I know a few of you forumites have been - was it worth it? How much did it cost? Which tour company did you use?

Any info appreciated

The exclusion zone is closed at the mo pending a courtcase, result is on the 17th. I'm
hoping to go. Look up lupine travel I'm using them for north Korea and they're very helpful.

not that badly aslong as you dont get ubder close to the reactor, i'd love to go visit it must be a pretty bizzare place

I'm sure you "can" go in to the reactor control room for a few minutes at a time but I doubt very much they'd let members of the public

No Chernobyl was created by STALKER fans on an old abandoned Ukrainian town as a monument to the game.

They even sprinkled a dash off radioactive chemicals to give it that ''authentic feel''

I dont think they have monsters though but ya never know? better safe than sorry
