Im looking to get a gaming bundle, but my funds limit me to an i5 set up. I would choose the Asus P8Z68-V PRO Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) motherboard, but I'm wondering will it support i7 and ivy bridge?

Ahhh

Its a Gen3 board, so has PCI-E3.0 support with Ivybridge cpu.

Overclocking on this for the 2500k as simple as you explained for the 2600k?

Exactly the same, just select from the menu, or do it yourself.
