give the guys in sound city a budget and a rough idea of what your after and i'm sure they will come up with something amazing:

i will aslo say that you should be VERY wary of fakes. not sure about the headphones that cover your ears, but for the ones that go in your ear there are more fakes floating around than in a market stall selling £5 rolex's.

its why i went for the klipsch X1's over the seinheisser CX-300 II's

I have waxy ears (no amount of cleaning really helps) so I have an issue with earphones, I have some Klipsch ones which sound great but just get blocked all the time which is annoying.

Any alternatives, they need to be small and unobtrusive as well as suitable for rigorous exercise.

Do the Klipsch headphones have a particularly small hole that the sound comes out of? Perhaps a wider hole would be less prone to blockage.

If not i'm not really sure that any other type of earbud style headphones would solve the problem. As they are all basically some rubber with a hole in them which will inevitably block.

Yeah, they have a small hole. I was thinking about the powerbeats as they seem to have a bigger aperture.

My over-ears are just too big.

Sennheiser headphones seem to favour a larger aperture, im personally not a fan of the Powerbeats or the Mosterbeats brand but each to their own obviously.

Ask the extremely knowledgeable people in the Home Cinema/Hi-fi section or even AV Forums for a list of recommendations or general advice. They would be much more able to help you than I would. :)
