Please, without immigration workers the country wouldn't be able to support the burgeoning population of British-born benefit scroungers who wouldn't work whether there were jobs or not.
Couple it by abolishing most benefits, or reduce their duration to three months, after which you get nothing. This would slash the budget deficit which would also help the country get back on its feet.
Don't forget that the MILLIONS of immigrants put an ENORMOUS strain on the health service, housing, policing, public transport, everything. Without this burden our country would save a fortune.

hmmm, if the Poles are such hard, trusthworty workers, why isn't their own country prospering and supplying them with the necessary job opportunities?

Yeah the sign said see your doctor or come back tomorrow. Erm what if you've just been seriously injured and need life saving treatment? That's generally what A+E is for I thought.
As much as I don't like to get involved in these kind of threads as they always just run there course with nothing much being said... Dirty Dog seriously what the hell? Yes ok with have immigration of Polish people over here but I whole heartedly hope you realise the majority of 'poles' do jobs that most of the UK would turn their nose up at?
Yes some people are crying out for jobs in the UK but I know that most of them would turn round and quite happily say no to picking fruit for less than minimum wage or doing washing up or cleaning peoples cars in the freezing cold. You really need to pull your head out of your backside and see the bigger picture here rather than being so inwards looking about every single issue that crops up on here relating to immigration or whatever.
This news is pretty awful so please just have a bit if sympathy as it makes zero difference where these victims are from.

Well yes but considering we've got far too many people in the country it's not surprising the A+E cannot cope.
Yes our public services are at breaking point. And we can only keep them running by borrowing £3bn a week and adding this enormous sum to our already catastrophically massive national debt. But I digress.
We are talking about Jersey here and not the UK. I suspect A+E was closed to the general public because they did not know what causalities to expect. Maybe that is what they do when an incident occurs.

Well immigration is part of the problem, weight of numbers using the services is part of the problem. Massive incompetence and mismanagement is another but then we're really getting off topic. The NHS should be privatised and a system like they have in Germany should be adopted.
