Hey,

I've got some new 18" RS4 wheels coming tomorrow. I also need new rear discs and pads fitted, as mine are worn and require replacing.

The ones at the front are fine, but the pads will need to be swapped out on those soon too.

Can I get a new set of discs at the back, which are different from the front?
Anyone got any suggestions on what to get? Anything a level above budget ones would be nice.

Cheers.
Mark

Ok,

I've always just gone with the ones the garage say need replacing. The ones they stock. Are these Audi parts or are they just cheapo ones?

How would I get hold of a set of Audi OEM discs?

Your local garage won't be fitting original Audi Discs.
They will be fitting aftermarket brake discs.
Unless of course you specify you want Audi discs but the price will be higher.

If you want original parts give your local audi dealer a call they will price you some up

The decision of what parts/discs you want is totally a personal choice
My dads Audi a6 has now Bosch pads and he has not noticed the diff

I'm pretty sure its Pagid that make the OEM parts anyway, you can pick them up on Eurocarparts, think they're doing 25% off at the moment too.
