PS3 Ultimate Team Tourney

Couple of hugely entertaining games against BizKid.

First game 2-2

Cracking game and I probably should have hung on for the win but a stupid mistake with 10 mins to go when having a throw in and tossing it straight to robinho who ran 50 yards and slotted passed the keeper for 2-2.

Better was to come!!

Bizkid 3- booyaka 2

Mad game this one!!

I went a goal down when keeper made a mess of a relatively easy shot from Robinho who knocked in the rebound. Simlar was to come at the other end when Adabeyor struck a tame shot across goal which was fluffed by the keeper and it was 1-1.

Then came a crazy 5 mins when Bizkid went 3-1 ahead with 2 goals in 3 mins, which I managed to reply within 2 mins of that for 3-2.

Bizkid had the better of the shots (17 i think to my 10) and it was a mental game that could have ended 5-5 or something but a deserved winner in the 2nd game

ahhh tourny is feeling a lot more positive and good vibes in thread now :)

Had my 2 games against WingoStar tonight.

First one was 1-5 to me, one of those games were everything just seemed to go for me and every shot was going in so a good start. Second game was much, much closer and Wingo hit the bar twice I think and went stupidly closer a few more times however I managed to sneak a jammy 1-0 win.

Good couple of games mate. The first game your attack was too immense didn't know how to defend against them! Doesn't help I had Mr Flappy in goal too. :o You took your shots well! Have to teach me how to take corners, corners are always wasted on me. :p

Second game was real tight, caught me on the counter after my shot rattled the crossbar. Definitely my favourite game out the two. :D
 
Also apologies to Biz, when you messaged me I just started playing best out of 3 with a old uni mate. Will play you when I'm next on!

My team name is "Not A Kalou" if PsychoSonny wants to update that.

For me I think corners depend on the other player. You don't need to learn how to score corners you need to make sure you can defend them. Mark up the players, especially ones that are dangerous i.e. tall, strong defenders(by selecting the players yourself) make sure you have certain areas covered and don't be afriad to bring the keeper out.

I always find I'm too slow in selecting the taller players, or when I do the opponent changes free kick taker and I have to reselect my player again.

Yeah a few more friendly is in order, need to get my revenge. :D

if someone wants to play their games and if someone isn't then add the guy that actually wants to play his games.

I am about all day today cus no work and no gym! so anyone wants a game shout up :) will keep checking thread/ps3 online friends.
 
I am about aswell Rob/Solo so once your done with each other invite me and I will play, will just wait around till then. (dont think you have accepted my friends request yet Rob)

Had both my games against JoJothemonkey, first game he scored first and I was struggling after that but managed 2 goals in 2 mins and held on after to win 1-2.

Second game I was in full control but couldn't score for the life of me (plus Neur pulled off 3/4 point blank saves that were amazing) 20 shots, 16 on target. Had to bring on my secret weapon to make it 3-0 in the end (with 2 goals in the last 10 mins)

Just played my games against One More Solo

4-0 to One More Solo
3-3

Came back from being 3-0 down in the first half to scoring 3 goals in the second. Happy with that comeback. :) I started the first match off really well with like 8 shots in the first 10 minutes then Bent got a hatrick and he brought on Ronaldo. gg's

I just can't do all those fancy tricks you were doing. Just can't for the life of me pull them off with timing.
 
okay just played Rob. First game I lost 0-2 and second game I lost 3-2. His team was just to strong/quick for mine.

Well played and good games. Look forward to the new league standings :)
