Yeah the XXXXXX code I was given yesterday didn't work, had to go back into EA Live Chat and wait an age, got a XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX code (i had Origin open at checkout) and first few attempts failed.

As I was waiting for level / tier 2 support it worked, guess it just needed a few minutes

I was told by the EA chat guy that it expired on the 31st of August!

So I put my code in, got the discount, logged out and back in and the discount is still there!

So just need to wait for pay day now

no its got no expiry date, he blagged that probably just wanted you to buy something there and then.

That's the wrong code you've been given, that's a voucher and not a discount for origin
