Mafia II £3.74

luckily I got it while it was reduced, excellent game it really gets you into the storyline and character, really good graphics as well

Completed, I wont give anything away - but wow.

Storyline was great, a bit of beefing up here and there would have been nice, not too much but maybe a little more with certain characters.

Story to this is brilliant, on about chapter 9 now and am absolutely loving it. Every time I sit down to play it I end up on it for a few hours at a time! Story is good, music is good, graphics are mediochre at best, the AA is very poor, lots of jaggly edges, even on max, but the game is so good that I don't care. I can understand now why people were excited when it was released.

Am also looking forwards to playing the DLC when I am done. It's a much more immersive game than GTA4 ever was, in my opinion. The story is just miles better and a lot more interesting, especially with the whole 40s/50s vibe.

I wish there were a few more "side" missions to complete like GTA4 has. That's the only thing lacking for me so far. I can just get into this a lot more than just the naffy "goin out kill me sum bro's fo ma drugzzz" of GTA4 where all the missions are pretty much the same.

Yeah I agree, the main missions are all well connected and you feel part of it/can see the sense in them.

Not sure which DLC to get, as I think i need another Mafia fix :(

Great prices for the game. I kept playing just for the storyline. Great music, voice acting and shooting sequences. The driving was the only boring part of the game. Will have to get around to the DLC at some point aswell.

I am watching Godfather 1 in HD right now (with GF2 and 3 following tomorrow)...

needless to say, I am itching to replay Mafia 1 and 2 :-).
