Yup, I hate their company that much:
- don't like the prices they sell their items at
- don't like the way they take ideas that have been around for ages and reintroduce them as brand new and that they thought of them first and every one believes them
- don't like how closed they are for there software side
- don't like the majority of owners who are snobbish, or just plain stupid thinking that the iphone/imac what ever, is the best thing on earth and nothing is better than it, and especially the way they try and justify the cost of there products despite the fact you can get much better products/components for a lot cheaper "oh but it has aluminium casing and feels like a premium device that is why it is so much more expensive"
- don't like steve jobs
- just don't like their software in general at all
And a lot of other things.......

From what I can see HTCs lawsuit has merit, they are contesting strong patents whereas from what I can see Apples patents should not have been passed in the first place. Apple has patented a rather vague design, and anything of a similar shape can be seen to infringe, despite 99% of smartphone and tablets having to utilise the same basic shape due to the fact that they have a rectangular screen.
HTCs major patent here is combining a phone with a PDA, which essentially makes a smartphone a smartphone. It's a very substantial patent.

I hope it blows up in Apples face for being such as****** in the first place, wouldn't it be funny if HTC got a court order in place stopping them from realising stuff for a bit and ruining there launch of the I5 and they had to show HTC 5 of there next devices

I'm only a small fan of Apple. I like them but I don't love them! I'm a fan of Samsung, Nokia and HTC too!

Saying anything remotely positive about Apple is baiting 'them'?
If they patent it then technically that's within the law isn't it? lolThey prob will sue android/Google for copying them
If I am not mistaken HTC already have to pay Microsoft $5 for every Android phone sold - I think I read somewhere that MS is making more money from this then it actually is making from sales of it's own mobile OS. Can you really blame them for going on the offensive when Apple are essentially trying to manipulate the silly US patent system in the same way?

good on HTC just wish few more manufactures would take on apple.
