Don't some firms when they are out of stock just up the so high no one bothers buying, rather than messing around with changes pages

If they have a crap CMS they do, but normally just by sticking £9999.99 in, £669.59 seems an odd 'random' price to put in.

Still works for me. I think it happens when a product is entered but the price isn't specified. It's then automatically priced prohibitively high so no one would buy it.

It is an odd amount though. Maybe it's worked out from some odd aggregation formula or staff number mashing or something.
