DOTA 2 Comp - Winner gets 1 Million USD

It is just HoN / DOTA with a little nicer graphic, still the stagnate snowball game play. Really disappointed they haven't mixed it up loads.

They said from the beginning they weren't going to.

It does show the versatility of the Source engine that it can pull off the top down view so well.

Utterly stunning graphics.

There is no way the others can compete with this engine. Imagine, new heroes that actually have original skill sets rather than copy pastas of existing champions because the engine has zero flexibility!

*drools*

LoL Season 2 pool is $5million

Thats typical Riot that is *Weeee look at me! Money, Marketing Money MARKETING MONEY MARKETING MARRRKKKKKKEEEEETTTTTTING actual game design*

Lol they are having a few lag problems at the moment, amusing.

edit: and had to pause

they have had lag issues from the very start....its a poor show from them imo the commentary isnt ll that great quality either. the LOL tourny seemed so much better imo

Although the game does look very good!......shame they aint showing it off better

Watching the livestream and looks good. I've been playing LoL for a long time now and I've got pretty fed up and bored with it, just playing it until this comes I think.

Riot just release skins, rehash new champions with stuff we already seen and still haven't got replay system and other promised content, all they do now is "soon".

If Dota 2 has a Nidalee clone I'd be a happy chap :D

I never played Dota, is this a big difference from LoL?

Dota has more depth and mechanics to it, such as denying creeps and jungle stacking. If you die in DOTA/HON you will lose gold where as in LOL you will not, hero roles in DOTA are far more defined as well.

Not sure if is in this DOTA but in HON there's an item which is an AXE which allows them to last hit creeps easier but also has an activate which allows them to cut down trees as well.
