for everybody about to buy fans

yes cooler master sickleflow beats the viper

plus it flow a lot less than started 84cfm.. only one that does that is the very very loud delta..

Just bought some fractal design silent cooling fans to go with the ones in the case for my server. These are not high air flow, but they are near silent. Made such a difference when attached to a tower cooler when compared to the noise of stock cooling. I can now sleep with the server turned on, and its literally inches from my head. Would reccomend if you're looking for silent ones.

I just got a Noctua p12 I think for my CPU cooler fan.

And I got some sythe kama flow 2 for my case fans.

All should be super quiet!

I have some fractals, so quiet, although more recently ive been buyingenermax UCTB12's as they shift more air and are quieter:D

Just bought one yesterday, and so far you can colour me impressed. My go to 120mm fan are Nexus Real Silent's, but after reading your comment yesterday I got an Enermax to test out (the batwing design will go nicely with the theme for my next rig). I've just done some less than scientific testing comparing the two, and I'd say that the Enermax moves the same or slightly more air at 12v and is quieter at 12v. I'm using it on my CPU for a day to see if it's as good or better than the Nexus. So far things are looking good, and I'm going to have to seriously think about getting some more now. Which means more bloody expense, damn you:p

I'll post back in a while, just going to have a quick game of L4D2 and see what temps are like.

After a quick run through Blood Harvest, CPU temp maxed at 44C with three 120 fans (2 Nexus, 1 Enermax) running at 7v. And considering that the Enermax seem to work horizontal as well, I think I've got a new favourite 120mm.

Thanks for the recommend, Ch3m1c4L!
