Please spec me some epic period/historical/fantasy TV Dramas I haven't seen yet.

In recent memory I have watched and loved:

Rome
GoT
The Borgias
The Tudors
Spartacus - both series

Any other period/historical/fantasy epics that I should be aware of to pass the time before bed on a rainy worknight?

I don't remember them entirely well, but you could go old school with the Sharpe series.
Might be a bit dated now though.

It's not exactly 'epic' but 'I, Claudius' was a brilliant series.

I was considering this, and I have a lot of man-love for Sean Bean, but was worried it may not have aged well... it was low budget if I remember rightly wasnt it?

Watched it all, one of my fave ever series. Was thinking more grand and sweeping though... monarchs, political intrigue and wars etc.

Robin Hood (2006 BBC Series Kieth Allen as the Sherriff Is the Best part of it though the rest is pretty tedious at times)
