***Samsung SpinPoint F4 320GB In Stock***

I have two of these in Raid 0 and they are beating my Vertex 2 SSD on both read and write performance in most cases.

Very happy with the performance for only £60

No chance, There is no way of samsung f4 320gb in raid0 can beat vertex 2 ssd because vertex 2 ssd can do both read and write of over 500mb/s in raid0. How can samsung f4 320gb get over 500mb/s ?

I mean raid 0 samsung F4's score higher read/writes in Atto than my single Vertex 2 SSD.

Do we think there will be a ~600 GB single platter F4 any time soon? I'm after as quiet a drive as possible, and sine the F3 single-platter Ecogreen has been discontinued (can't get it anywhere), I'm hoping there are single platter F4s on the way using the whole platter.

. yeah I searched google and this was the first page..

I've been looking at that 500GB version, but from what i can gather it's not a fast as the F4. I really don't need TB's of storage space tbh, 640 is fine for me. Was just thinking of getting a couple of these in raid 0
