Fm 2011 last minute goals problems

I think the code for FM 2011 is absymal. I just replayed it just now and It reminded my why i stopped playing.


I swear in 3 seasons over 30 game si have lost or drawn due to last minute goals.

And I dont just mean 0-0 to 0-1 or 2-1 to 2-2-

I mean like 88mins winning 3-1 and lose 3-4 etc..


This is for sure some bug. It happens way to often.

Sure you can change tactics, go all out defensive, put men behind the ball etc..etc...but nothing works.

Plus I dotn want have to put 10 men in defense on the 80th minute of a game Im winning comfortably 3-1.

Its unrealistic. I never had any issues like this in any other Fm game though i aint played since like FM06?

FOr sure this is some issue with this game I hope they fix for Fm 2012.

I type this now having been beating Liverpool 2-1 I score in the 86th minute to make it 3-1.....Guess what.

Liverpool score 88 + 92 minutes to make it 3-3


Im sick off this game..
 
"Last minute" goals are actually quite common even in real life because "last minute" typically encompasses quite a wide period, usually at least 5mins (as your last example shows).
 
As for me well I still win everything despite this so Im not a rubbish manager

atm I am playing fa cup final against arsenal. I have already knocked out Man City, Chelsea and Man utd lol tough draws/
 
Need better players, different mentality...

Watch real football? More often than not real life teams score towards the end anyway through fatigue and players loosing concentration.

Get players with better concentration of a decent keeper

Oh and whats wrong with the ultimate thread? :p

its annoying like if you are winning by 2 or 3 goals with only 3-5misn left and you draw or lose its really annoying.

Fair enough over season I win enough games but this happens to often that it makes it more like a ''bug'' than realistic gameplay. Plus losing 1 goal in last 5mins is not uncommon but 2-4 goals in last minutes of game normal? i think not

I have never conceded 2 or 3 goals in the last minutes of a games, maybe 1 sometimes (which is pretty normal in football) but 2 or 3? Something is wrong with your tactics.

I just play normal 442 most of time..

I tried switching to contain, put extra defender, sub fatiuged players, go counter lol, going 541 etc...etc...

It would still happen.

I read it in another forum as well so I dunno what its all about.
 
oh I been playing CM/Fm since CM2...so believe me I know this is something wrong with gmae coding/programming.

I could link to other threads many have had similar issues.

As long as they fix in fm12 im cool
 
Bad tactics, your team needs training in other formations so if you shove an extra cb in without giving them time to get used to the formation they will make mistakes
 
I got mad I even trained my squad with an ultra defensive tacti that I would switch to in 85thminute in some games and still I would concede last minute goals.

Ironically I done a counter-counter instead off going all out defense to hold a lead as soon as opponent went all out attack so would I lol..SO both teams full out attacking..It worked a few times then it never worked...
 
Ive treid it all..time wasting, men bahind ball, contain etc...they still score Im literally at my screen LMFAO...I make 5 defenders and 4 defensive mdifeldeire, ive treid it all..LMAO and still I concede

Anyway I need to put this game away. I started at 5pm today and have not left my pc. Thats nearly 8 hours continous play...game is to addictive...SO much wasted time.
