Best Case for £50-80

I'm completely clueless when it comes to cases at the moment, I'm in the middle of trying to put together a gaming rig and at the moment I've chosen the Fractal Design Define R3 Midi Tower Case - Black Pearl (£69.98).

Needs to fit a standard ATX motherboard in, 850W PSU, a GTX570 GPU with plenty of space for adding another one in SLI down the road. Would like one which is gonna keep my kit cool with the ability to add additional fans if required.

Just wondering if anyone on here could suggest another case to look at, doesn't overly matter if it has/hasn't got a window in the side but hey it's always nice to be able to look at all your hard work.

Any suggestion are hugely appreciated as I'm pretty clueless right now, cheers guys!

I hate cases nowdays, I remember picking up epic gaming cases for £40-60, now its like £130

It comes with four fans and excellent airflow as standard.

Its got the same quality as Lian-li but using steel instead of aluminum.

Bitfenix Shinobi no bad reviews on that :) i might be buying one myself pretty soon! Or if you wanna risk it the Fractal R3, ive seen the reviews and it looks very good (when its in 1 piece) also its apparently silent as the grave! But risk the chance of it turning up broken.

Looks pretty decent. One thing though, I'd like to turn my top fans into intake fans to have positive pressure. Looks like it might be tricky to add a dust filter there.
 
Why would you want to do that? do you know better than the engineers who designed this case?

Hot air naturally rises, so unless you have found someway to defy basic physics? then leave at it was designed.

Its not great when you are trying to turn the top fans blowing downwards so dust that naturally falls downwards enters the case even easier.

Its ironic that you link to Silverstone, when their best cases have air flow blowing upwards and out the top of the case, and not downwards and out of the bottom of the case.

Perhaps you should read up on other methods to create "positive" air pressure.

You really should learn some basics, air comes in the front with filters.

Hot air rises to the top and rear top fans and is exhausted.

Simple facts:rolleyes: about all cases.

No need to be condescending, I'm well aware how are flow works.

That link I sent you is to the Silverstone website. They make cases and their engineers have a different take.

Cool air blowing in has more of an effect than an exhaust fan waiting for warm air to get near it's vicinity
