Notch: Bethesda, I challenge you to a game of Quake 3!

Would love to see this.
Am I the only one who doesn't see the point in Bethesdas case?
I know of nobody who called any Elder scrolls game by its full title. It was always, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim etc.

By reputable you mean mental right? :p

Bethesda would lose either way. If they lose the match, they look stupid and fail with what they were after in the first place. If they win it's not going to generate them any support still, people will still rally behind the underdog, and hate even more on the "big bad Goliath" company.

I think their claim to copyright is retarded, but as much of an entertaining spectacle this would be, from a business point I can't see Beth gaining anything from it.

Nah I think the only one on Bethesdas side are their lawyers.

Bet half of the dev's working on Skyrim are facepalming with one hand and playing Minecraft with the other.
