I think you need to read everthing I've said again.
Why you confused, if you say one moment
"I don't think that the gfx will look much different from FM3"
Then to return shortly after and say
"I'm not saying it won't look better"
Wouldnt it just be easier to be more specific and just say you think their will only be a small improvement.
Yet to say that, doesnt seem accurate at all judging the recent content released and the game graphically has several areas of improvement over FM3.
Cant agree with you as I see what could be a major improvement with much more detailed cockpits, the IBL, the draw distance, new shaders and new graphical effects. It for me at least will be one of the the best looking racing games on any console and one of the best looking games released this year.

Both those statements imply that I think there will be a small improvement. Certainly not as big a difference from 2-3.
I know what you meant and even commented on what you refer to, basically a minor or small improvement. The whole point in raising the matter was because I think your competely wrong and delusional thinking FM4 isnt a major upgrade visually. It is much more detailed and has new as well as improved tracks.

ibert always had an issue of admitting if/when he was in the wrong though.
I dont care either way. I said at the beginning I didnt agree with his comment but he wanted to make that an issue with pointless arguing over what he said or didnt say.
We will see more coming from Gamescom and very much doubt we have seen FM4 at its best yet. Finally T10 with FM4 seem to of mellowed off and let their game talk for itself rather than going around interviews/press conferences telling everyone how awesome their game is or they are.
Dan has definately changed his presentation and attitide for the better also and FM4 looks to be the best game in the series, easily.

Because you can move so close to the cars in the vista mode. These are nothing like the cars that will be used in-game.

It doesn't directly contribute to it, but what he is saying is that they wanted realistic lighting and a rich, detailed environment/car models for the showroom Kinect 'walkaround' parts, and in creating this new lighting model they were able to apply it to the whole game, resulting in the improved visuals overall.
