Will Pc monitor prices drop much between now and end of year?

I want to upgrade my 22 to a 24 inch monitor but I dont think Ill use it much until BF3 is released.

However I have the money now? Is there any reason to wait?

If not what do you recommend I buy? Do I need 3dtv or 120hz etc...cheers

120hz is worth it if you play fast paced FPS games.
Personally I would wait as prices will likely fall a little... maybe keep an eye out for any bargains.

the only game I will play will really be online fps.

For all else I use hdmi into 40 inch hdtv and control pad.

Tbh only game I will play on it will be bf3 lol...

Who cares? Even if it does it'll lose its flash after a few days and you'll turn it off and forget all about it because its just a major distraction.

Your probably better directing this question to the monitors section, the guys in there know there stuff. Typically a 120Hz monitor is going to be better for fast paced FPS, an IPS is where its at for image quality. I believe this is apparantly the best on for fps:
