movies stucking with SLI

Hi guys,

i got my second GTX 580 yesterday and I am facing an issue where every movie i am watching is juddering. it runs weird, somehow slow.

this happens only if SLI is active - anyone knows how to fix this ? i know i could deactivate sli but thats kinda annoying to activate and deactivate all the time......

Is it possible that movies suffer from microstuttering?

i dont think so.. its not like microstuttering. in the whole length, the movie is not running smooth as it should be.

Try changing the adaptive power management and mutli display/adaptor acceleration modes in the nVidia control panel.

I haven't had this.
Tried turning SLI off? This would eliminate it being a fault with SLI...

Have you tried other video software? like VLC? see if it does in other video players and i agree turn SLI off to just to test if it's that.

maybe i wasnt that clear in the startpost, sorry - yes without SLI no issues.

i got this issue with VLC, WMP, powerDVD....quicktime.

adding the following information:

i have my 24" screen on DVI and my 52" LG TV on HDMI on the card.

if i disable the LG TV, movies are fine, if i re-enable it, they stuck again.

another thing ive recognized is: if i change the hz from the TV to from 60 to 59, movies are fine, changing it back from 59 to 60 again, its still fine.

so changing random settings fixes this?
