Which old comedy was, "Today I will mostly be..."

Competitive dad was another favourite.

Suits you just got a bit annoying after a while, mental black painter man was always a laugh, jumpers for goal posts.

Ahh the memories.

Last of the old style comedies/sketch shows really before things staretd to move on in my eyes with things like big train which got a little more obscure.

Apparently competitive dad was based on an actual dad that Charlie Higson (I think) encountered somewhere. He was so disgusted with how he was with his kids that he wrote the character for The Fast Show.

In other news, The Fast Show was miles better than Harry Enfield, though Harry Enfield was pretty good in fairness. The Lee and Lance sketch with Lee trying to sing "Who's that girl running around with you" is hilarious.

A classic.

I think to me they were both good as they both fitted in well with my age and level of humour at the time :)

HE+C to start with, then the Fast Show.

I could watch The Fast Show all day. One of the best comedies ever written. Harry Enfield and Chums is no match for the Fast Show team. Pure comedy gold.....except Ed Winchester.

WOMEN, KNOW YOUR LIMITS!

(I known this is a HE quote, but it is damn funny and particularly apt for OCUK)

Not sure what all the Fast Show Vs Harry Enfield fuss is all about, they were both very funny in their prime. They are both streaks ahead of Little Britain for example. Can't understand why Bellamy's people was cancelled.

Black, black, black! Like the clouds of death that follow me into the forst of doom and hide in the wardrobe of darkness. BLACK.

:D

Its RUBBISH, RUBBISH i tell you. Everything is just a load of crap :P

Brilliant Kid: My dad reckons -
Rubbish: Hitler, now he had some good ideas, he did.
Brilliant Kid: - but then he also says -
Rubbish: Crinkle cut chips are a Chinese invention.
Brilliant Kid: - so I'm not sure he really knows what he's talking about.

Dave Angel, Colin Hunt, Fat Sweaty Copper, Monkfish, the offroaders Roy and Renée were personal favourites
