It's called a different opinion, which is absolutely fine. I'm a pretty anal person in general. I still think that the fact that microstuttering still exists is nothing short of ridiculous and will always put me off crossfire, which is a shame. I am very sensitive to that sort of lag, though.

Even is it was possible to place several monitors screens right next to each other (pretty sure it has been done) I'd see it as unnecessary.

I wonder how much profit they make from these 580 x2s. :D

Gibbo, what's the reasoning for the rise in price for the 5850 you have?

If you understand what's involved with Multi GPU & know away to get rid of the possibility of microstuttering, did you put the solution forwards to NV & AMD ?

I'm not being hostile.

Its just that expectations based on lack of understanding & experience in a particular field is a common problem.

Its like saying its pathetic that they have not found a cure for AIDS or the common cold by now, which everyone has a right to that opinion but is hardly a fair one when we have no experience in medicine research, but personal experience is not necessary when your able to use examples of others who have succeeded in doing so & in the case of microstuttering the same situations applies.
Everyone would like all these things solved.

If you came into my work place & told me i was pathetic then you would see hostile.

I would ask you can you do it, you will say no.
Do you know anyone who has been able to do it or examples of it been done with the technology i have to work with, you will say no.
Do you know of a feasible theoretical equation of how it can be done, you will say no.
I have done & doing work that seven other companies have turned down because they think its impossible or to hard even if.
Do you know how to get the hell out of my sight.
Still there is a possibility that i may work it out eventually, which happens most of the time. :)

But anyway your welcome to your own opinion. :p <--you asked for it.

Much much prefer my 3gb 580 SLI - absolute joke of a price and product with 1.5gb of ram although I'm sure there are plenty gullible enough to buy them
