What the **** is wrong with this mobo, it's the buggiest BIOS i've ever met, i don't think i want to meet it ever again on a dark night.

There is no mouse control, the click bios 2 says it doesn't support my main board

I've done updates via the live update, no better.

But the worse thing is both my gpu's are running @ x8

Anyone got any suggestions?

You can't navigate the bios, the mouse is fine in windows, so we will strike the info off.

The mobo runs 3x @x16 :p

now i'm crying :D

I bet it dont;)

You win.

Slots
2x PCIe 3.0 x16 slots (PCI_E2, PCI_E4)
1x PCIe 2.0 x16 slot (PCI_E5)
PCI_E2 supports up to PCIe x16 speed (when PCI_E4 is empty) or PCIe x8 speed (when PCI_E4 is installed)
PCI_E4 supports up to PCIe x8 speed
PCI_E5 supports up to PCIe x4 speed

I don't even have 1 running @ x16, in theory there are 3 x16 slots so says the manual.

I'd be happy if just 2 ran @16 or even 1.

So you are saying they'll both only run @ X8

When you have one card installed in PCI_E2 (the first Blue slot from the top) PCI_E1 being the little Black one above it, on its own with no other cards installed it operates at 16X

When you add a second card into PCI_E4 (the next Blue slot) the bandwidth is divided to 8X and 8X

I will quote from MSI off the mobo info that i got with it.

3 xPCI Express x16 slots, enjoy the power of multi-graphics, more PCI-E bandwidth than other Z68 MBs

The UEFI bios is a piece of doggy doo.

I'm going to do a whole new fresh install tomorrow, as i give up with this one.

I've seen that before about the x8 tests i'll just have to put up with that ;)

I have my freaky moments.

Now that's just cute, decides to share hot water bottle with them :)

You can quote that all you like, it doesn't change the facts that the other 16X PCI-E slots are not fully wired.

Actually look in the second Blue slot and see if the little gold fingers go all the way across it.

- PCI_E2 supports up to PCIE x16 speed when PCI_E4 is empty, or PCI_E2 will support up to PCIE x8 speed when PCI_E4 is installed
- PCI_E4 supports up to PCIE x8 speed

don't feel sorry for the little black thing, it has other coloured friends nearby.

it would be a lot worse if it was sandwiched between the two large black things.

If you look at the rear of the motherboard you can see that PCI_E2 is fully connected, PCI_E4 only has connections for x8 and PCI_5 only has connections for x4.

When cards are installed in both PCI_E2 and PCI_E4 half the connections for PCI_E2 are disabled to supply the bandwidth for PCI_E4.
