Trackmania 2

I have a created an OcUK group.

Login: OcUK
Password: spie12

I tried joining but it's asking for a validation code for my account, after entering the login and password.

Followed a link in game to: http://player.maniaplanet.com/validationcode

Which currently doesn't seem to work.

edit: I didn't realise they had sent a code to my email after creating the account.

You any good at this? I am always trying to get the hang of using a pad, but I just suck with it. I think I only found it useful back in rally and snow.

Is this out yet? Is it just on steam? How much?

Will it run on my aging 5770, 2gb & [email protected]?

edit - I see it is and it will run fine.

Looks like its not available on steam but only through the TM website. What the hell is 'mania planet' sounds a bit dodgy to me

He makes a good point about the difference between TM and TMUF - Not the same game and realiistically, worthy to charge more IMO for a game of this standard.

Well no doubt I will be buying them all as long as they are spaced out nicely, and it certainly encourages people to play the other environments by selling them individually. However it's not a massive leap, the handling of the cars is what makes each environment special and personally I would be fine with just more of them.

I thought it was quite funny the way he was trying to explain that they were not making any of it free because they need to make money. As if anyone should expect a game for free. Stadium was too good to give away for free, they should have just given people the single player and made them pay for mp.

Played it for about 5 mins and not impressedso far. Seems like I can only play multiplayer for some reason. View change (supposed to be 3) doesnt work and the handling of one of the cars is pretty poor.

I will give it a try tomorrw

Yeah the numpad is what you want to use for view, multiplayer is all that is included in the beta, also there is only one car.

Also 5 minutes is certainly not enough time to judge this, you really need a number of hours under your belt before you get the hang of it, as your experience transfers across each track.
