Post Your Daily Encounter Pics Here

Just spotted an Aston Martin db9 convertable with the plate GAV 80V which looked suspiciously like GAY BOY. Bit of a shame if the guys names gavin though.

Saw an AC Cobra at work today, couldn't get a picture unfortunately :( Not sure if it's a replica or something or not, had a plate like Q589 JTT, but I can't seem to find it :\ this is in Yarmouth if it helps. The growling V8 (I assume) sounded amazing though.

Saw 8-10 Lotus Elises and Exiges along with a new shape Europa driving through Shipley-Bradford today, awesome noise... All seemed to be driven by old chaps. :( I was driving so couldn't get any pics.

That'd be a Kit car as its a 'Q' plate!.. but still kool!!!

Nice looks XJS and Granada there and the mighty XJ220 :D ...are memories.

For some reason I am finding myself getting more and more 'unreasonably' excited at all sorts of not particularly great '80s cars these days, maybe it's because I grew up with them and I first fell in love with cars before I could even walk ...much less drive. I am particularly fond of old Jags and The MK1 and MK2 Ford Granada ...maybe because my Dad had a number of them when I was very young and I have fond memories of them.

Ah right, yeah it looked absolutely perfect apart from one small panel that hadn't been painted yet, guy didn't look particularly happy to be in it though  Although that was probably because he'd just come out of ASDA

Still have a soft spot for the Granada. In 2.8i guise it was supposed to be my first car after passing my test many, many years go but fate intervened. Worked out that I could afford to buy the car but couldn't afford to tax, insure or fill it up :) fate can be cruel :)
