Build is a bit unbalanced. Expensive mobo, PSU, SSD, CPU. Really cheap case and GPU. Pretty sure the PSU costs more than the GPU o.O.

It's still worth a grand. You couldn't build that yourself for under 1300 I reckon. I'd then spend a bit more on it to upgrade some parts though. Sell the case and GPU, replace them with something better and more fitting to the build.

I'd also flog the cooler and get a standard water system.

Yer,
Case would be my first thing to change.

are you getting that second hand or something? i'd expect that to be £1300 at least (its £1530 from OcUK, but im sure you can save money by shopping around)

Yes mate. Guy said its a brandnew build. The bit that makes me nervous is it will be sent by parcelfarce. I would prefer pickup, but its 263 miles away.

make sure, the seller has good feedback, you dont want to be spending £1k on something that arrives with just the boxes :D

yeah, you really want to make sure the sellers feedback is good because if something looks too good to be true it generally is.

make sure he goes with the all bells and whistles delivery (insured, recorded, signed for, etc) because the last thing you want is to have a box of bricks arrive at your door.

might also be worth videoing the unboxing for insurance purposes just in case it does turn out to be fake

Thats what i do mate when it comes to any stuff off ebay, safest way to do it :)

His feedback is low, but according to Positive feedback left, he has sold 6 other setups from November 2010 to April 2011.

I am waiting for his reply regarding receipts for all components, which he should have if indeed it is all new freshly bought/built pc.

:(

Here's the reply i just got off him(Note i asked him how much to build it into a HAF X )

Hi,

Unfortunately I don't have any receipts I can send you as the kit used to build the pc came as part of a larger order. However due to me having a good relationship with my supplier, If you had any hardware issues within the first year I could get the parts replaced for you i.e. You could send me the part in question and I can send you a replacement. Having said all of this if you contacted the manufacturer of the parts they would usually replace them for you for the first year, all you need to do is give them a serial number. As for fitting in a half height case, it would all depend on which case you wanted due to the water-cooler.

Any more questions please feel free to contact me

Thanks

Jimmy

Can you trust me the link for the item?

Just wondering if this is the same bloke my friend dealt with.

Do all his build use antec 300's?

BAH - You haven't set up you're trust :(
