well first of the mob is buggy as **** it reebots 2 to 3 times before it starts in to windows ive read on google many have this problem and when i plug in a usb port it crashed then it all went away so i started using my pc normaly and i i went a sleep with the pc on then when i woke up it seems like it have restared and every thing like when i open a windows goes in slow motion so i open real temp hw monitor core temp and they say its on 8ghz now this mobo is turning out to be dangerous not saying all have this problems but they do exist

Sorry, it's just a bit confusing :p So it clocked the CPU up to 8GHz? You sure that's not a misreading?

i open real temp and core temp and hw monitor all said 8 ghz the wired thing is my temp was on 30 or 31C

and the wired thing was that it was all running in slow motion and how do i know my cpu did not get any burn marks or got damaged ?

LOL no way did it go to 8ghz thats deffinatly a miss reading you would be a world record overclocker if that was right.

how can i be sure the cpu did not get damaged or why was it running slow motion i mean i open a windows and it goes in slow motion looks like when you do slow motion on a video.... iveh ad problem with this mobo sence i got it and it was 5 days ago

Nah it couldn't have gone to 8GHz mate, would probably have frozen instantly. Have you tried resetting CMOS and not doing anything with the settings, and seeing if it's stable?

I'd do a memtest too personally.

well i did reset the settings to optimized defaults so i guess am at default now well my ram is at 1600 mhz and that how it should be

ran memtest and it past 1 run took 35 min i think so i guess mem is good now running prime 95 and its been running for 1 hour highest temp was 57 on 1 core and am using i7 2600k stock with noctua nh d-14 is that good?

got the latest bios 1850 it does not fix the problem for everyone btw the temps are they good on stock? and to the memtest version i used the latest one the .exe installler

Isn't that by design? My P8Z68 does the same and, as far as I know, its supposed to work like that. Isn't it something to do with the PLL Overvoltage setting?
