Beta will explain it. Hopefully single play will come soon, I loved trying to get gold in all races on TM sunrise and united forever

Give it time fella.

The beta is multiplayer only, the full game will have a sp "campaign" which will keep you going for much longer than any other AAA title as the sp links in to the multiplayer.... all will become clear in time.

Try pressing full stop on the numpad (works for me) to adjust camera view, it even has a top down cam which is awesome.

More time definitely required.

The game rewards skill.

EDIT:

Your a TMUF player so ignore me, dont want to teach you to suck eggs.

To join the group, goto profile on the main menu, then join group on the right.

You will need your validation code which was emailed to you when you setup your account.

Groups have no real function in the Beta as yet but when the game is launched proper, we will be good to go.

I dont hate them for not going with the free model again, it was bad for business and this is a company who I actually want to see succeed and to do that, they need to be financially rewarded for their work.

I believe they are smart enough to realise that something similiar without giving away too much is definitely a good marketing tactic though.

To be honest, Nations killed off the main game as well to be honest as I thought Stadium was one of the weaker environments... Bay was my favourite but because EVERYONE was on Nations, you did not have much choice when it came to servers.

TM had SOO much more to offer than just Stadium but the choice to give it away Stadium all for free, killed off the rest of the game, and I think the rest of the game is much better than Stadium.

This model should address that.

Agreed, stadium environment was crap. TM Sunrise, Island and Bay are where its at

Just played for about 30 mins and it is quite good. I ended up being the only person playing in both games I joined.

Is it possible to start races, seeing other ghost cars? Is there an ocuk group I can join. I havent been asked for my validation code yet, when will I get asked for it?

Ghost cars will come when the game leaves Beta in September and the full game is launched which will then give you same TM features you had in the other games.

Guys i have a pair of Blue/Red 3d glasses somewhere in my house, So would it be worth searching for them or do i need different one's? Really want to test 3d =)

When you are talking about ghost cars you mean your own ghost, that is only shown in the sp?

If you mean other players, then push 'o' on your keyboard, it toggles them on and off.

Some of the old custom cars work in this Beta.

I've got about 2 or 3 of my 10 or so hand crafted cars working so far.

The Viper model has parts of the wheels spinning around where before they were scaled small and fitted inside the main body of the mesh.

The Raider, Shed and Stapler model don't work. I guess the game must be a touch fussier than the original and doesn't forgive not having wheel elements.

Horn sounds can be converted to .ogg and placed in the Horns folder and that works provided they are not too long and I think Mono.

Yes free Stadium did kill the rest of the game.

Stadium seemed to have more blocks as well compared with the other environments. Bit silly of Nadeo to develop their free game better than the retail game.

The first couple times I played it, I didn't think that much of it, but now some better tracks have come out & I've got used to the game a bit more, its great. A lot more drifting than in TM1.

Does not exist, if you buy it, I have the files on my own server, will probably get them quicker than the Nadeo store.

TM2: Canyon is £20, no more.

If you want the other "zones" they will be £20 each but they will be kind of like seperate games as tracks and cars will be completely different.

This is on par with what TMUF cost (In total), infact, £60 is probably less.
