yes one thing that i like about the sgs2 is the screen especially in the light, at this point its not speed that's the problem/holding me back its things like build quality and screen quality

Personally I would go sim only and wait, the desire is still a very good phone, and you won't see that much improvement going to an S2 or similar

yeh you will the sg2 is a massive difference in speed and quality of all aspects of the phone (gaming, camera , screen)

s2 is the best at present and you wont see much for the forseable future.

not many 'type' on android based phones anymore due to swype and similar bits of software. something im sure apple will steal and claim they invented it at some point.

with the phones out atm i think that may be the best idea, the desire was a pre order back when i got it

Yep there should be plenty of new Wp7 phones being released in the next couple of months.

The searay device (as already mentioned probably the N9 with WP)
Probably two Samsung devices, looks like a mid range one (if that "Leak" is reliable) and definitely a 4.3" version.
There is also at least one HTC device being tested at the moment (wait til 1st of September for details hopefuly)
Several other manufacturers have devices likely to hit in the next couple of months as well.

WP7 is definitely worth a try.

It makes Android seem a far more polished system than it actually is. So I think it does, yeah.

It's good but it isn't perfect. The screen on the Sensation is actually nicer to use for certain things.
