Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

Best offline scene we had was Capcom Fight Club in Croydon. Though then i didnt know a thing about it, and wasnt into Fighters then!

Best thing you can do is if theres a shopping center which is Populated check out Capcoms Blog as they do a FightClub thingy which is just a Small show off of there upcomming game(s)

But apperently in London there some Aracade By somewhere which is pretty popular, but that no local to me at all :( Seems to be no one who plays it they all seem to play COd and Fifa really :(
 
The goodge street casino arcade is a fun place to play. However, I was there on saturday and got mauled by som yun player 8 games in a row! I just couldnt hit any of my combos! Even when he got reckless and handed me a massive punish opportunity on a plate I'd do something dumb like crmp/cod/fadc but then mess up hitting the crouching fierce!

He reckoned its cos I play on xbox and the arcade timing is slightly different :(
 
Darn you omh beating me in ranked gg. I'm not used to playing good onis I don't know the match up, il need a solid session with u soon.

Ggs art, I have no idea what to do when zangief gets close after a knockdown any ideas?
 
Had a good session tonight, did well in my lobby with Tron and Deathjumps then went online and played well although I'm starting to realize there are some real idiots online. Won 4 fights on the trot then played a cammy player (not tron) and I won the first round pretty convincingably then all of a sudden it said I lost connection to player so I thought I'd give him the benefit of the doubt and run it back but the same thing happened again as I won the round so it seems to me like he was disconnecting.

The only fight I lost tonight was against a C.Viper player and the lag was so bad I mean, the game was stuttering non stop. I sent him a message after was going to ask for an endless battle with him because I have little Viper experience and it would've been nice but I was told to 'hold that L and you'll start winning like sheen'.

Speechless.
 
the lession is never message random people online, especially in ssf4. i never had a nice response from any random win, lose or draw.

out of interest, what character do you play Drunzer?
 
artheas will gladly give you some viper experience if you are on xbox;)

i think me and him combined pretty much can play 80% of the cast at basic (not super noob) to mid level. because we mess around with characters a lot and dont really have a main.

I'm not mate unfortunately, I'm one of those weirdos that plays SSFIV on PS3. I'm hoping to buy a 360 soon though, I know I'll definitely have one by the time SFxT comes out but October is what I'm aiming for at the min.
 
ps3 is really bad for fighting games in general. the connection is never decent and the people on it rage quit even more than the xbox version.

yeah i hope to play you on SFxT and UMVC3 when they are out.
 
My connection is actually pretty good on PSN most of the time maybe I'm one of the lucky ones but the reason I'm getting a 360 is really so I can play all of you plus there's a few exclusives that it has that I might play on the side, can't be bad having the best of both worlds.

I will definitely be playing SFxT a lot it looks fantastic, UMVC3 I'll be picking up but I'm expecting a baptism in fire just like in SSFIV :P I'm finally improving which is nice, not 100% there with the stick yet but I'm close.

Backdash is good, as is holding jump, since even if Gief were to meaty you on wakeup, the best he can do is combo into EX hand, which no longer knocks down.
I hardly did any damage on you after a knockdown though, if i remember right.
