Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

I think they're giving the good news before the torrent of bad. These are all pretty minor changes for most characters.

Blast is the anti-air right? Nice idea but in practice that move just isn't worthwhile is it?
 
Nothing mentioned about Abel, they should nerf him more then amybe you guys will stand a chance against me ;)

Anyway guys.... Street Fighter 3rd Strike OE, no one remotely hyped about it? Im gonna main Ken I think, I used to really enjoy playing as him back in the day.

to me third strike is an awful game. i hated the game system and most of the character designs except, dudley, makoto and ibuki.

the chance of me paying for this is slim to none, i could play this on supercade or ggpo for free anyway. but if i were to play i will pick yun or akuma.

Are there still a lot of people playing it on ggpo? I used to use that but found half the time I couldn't connect to any games. Its going for £10 so I should be getting 10hours gameplay from it which I'm sure I'll manage.

Im looking forward to giving it a go and learning the mechanics, parrying sounds well cool :)
 
Arcade Edition adds 4 new characters and some gameplay tweaks. If you just get Super Street Fighter 4 you will only be able to play people who have that game and not the AE DLC.

If you get AE DLC you'll be able to play both versions. If I was you I'd get the AE version as the gameplay tweaks make it more balanced.

After watching that it doesn't seem so manic as I remember, I can see why both players did some of their moves and it didn't look random at all

Hey Buddy just want to appologise about the lag last night, first 6 or 7 games were great fun then my internet just acted like a complete b***h.

Would love to get a few more games with ya at some stage again.

Plus I REALLY need the practice lol

I've played it a bit at casino and casually with a couple of people, never really got into it though.
As long as you understand basic street fighter fundamentals it shouldn't be too daunting to pick up.
On another note though why did they have to change Yang's commands in ae? I still get the uppercut and command dash confused.

Thank you :) And no worries :P know how it can be! And sure i wouldnt mind aswell :D Need to play against a Ken/Ryu Match up with them too are very poor (Grapplers = Worse of Worse)

though when Ken and Ryu ill try doing FADC theres are pretty Easy and Dam good if you link them with Ultra!

i was messing around with viper in training mode. how do you chain seimo? i dont get the timing of the super jump cancel. and do you do u/f, d, f for the next one or is there a easier command.

i just done the last trial again, and its surprisingly easy lol, although i doubt i will try it in a real match. i remember it took me ages to figure out how to do it the first time i tried.
