Its worth noting that Amazon in the US are refunding the difference for customers who purchased a touchpad after August 12th. I expect something similar to happen in the UK, if not you can just return it under the DSR.

I've done the same with Argos. Very easy to return as you can drop them in a store and I work opposite one. Fingers crossed.
