It's all relative though. Yes the smaller parts run cooler, but they have a lower max operating temp

Also the smaller it is, the smaller surface it has to dissipate heat - therefore cooling needs to be better and more efficient. Imagine 100*c that used to dissipate from an 4 x 4cm area, and now it only has 0.5 x 05.cm to get rid of the same amount of heat !.

I don't think its worth challenging a man who lists his occupation as "Lottery Winner 2004" whether he has money or not tbh.

Dosent a smaller chip take less volts to run too tho?

Less volts, less heat.
