It seems there's some method in the madness after all. I'm guessing CPW have sent out the delay text/email to those they don't currently have stock allocated to, and haven't contacted those they do have stock for, pending dispatch notices. At least I hope that's what is happening!

I concur - just wish i was one of the ones who didn't receive the stupid delayed message.

No idea what's happening with my damn PC World order either

I've sent an email to the Rainforest asking them whether my "Not yet dispatched" order is to be dispatched anytime soon or if they're awaiting for stock from HP. This is their reply:

I have the same on mine.

I wouldn't worry about that if I were you. They offer next day delivery as standard, if I understand correctly, so their delivery estimate is probably calculated as the next working day after the order was placed.

Obviously that has gone out the window with this whole debacle!
